Obviously if the concert were to be chosen on the merits of sheer entertainment factor to you alone, the clear choice would be Chicago. But this isn't about you, you selfish fucking prick that can't even remember a birthday card for the people who put you through a bullshit liberal arts program! This is about them. So you need to choose between The Temptations with the Four Tops, or KC & The Sunshine Band. If your parents are still married and / or are somewhat religious, I would stick with the obvious crowd-pleaser of the Temptations/Four Tops combo. Even if they suck, those guys are so old by now that the audience is going to smile and clap along and eat that shit with a spoon, and your parents will at least have to pretend they're having a good time. But if Mom and Dad are divorced and / or you think at one point in time they may have been involved in some freaky, key-party-esque behavior in the mid-to-late seventies, then I say go for KC & the Sunshine Band. Because there might be weed. And who doesn't want to see their parents high? Not this girl -- I would love to see your parents high, actually.
