Let's fall in love, Portland

The best part about having someone come to visit you is playing tour guide, and getting to remember all of the little things that made you fall in love with your new hometown. My good friend Lori is visiting from San Francisco and we're doing a sleek combination of requisite Portland stand-by's (Powell's, Stumptown), seasonal expeditions, (Sauvie Island, local hot springs) and cultural events, (the T:BA festival, the Raconteurs in concert.) It's hard to update as we go but I think we'll have amassed quite the love letter to our city by the time she leaves Thursday. Details to come...
